Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie grabbed a brace as Houston Dash defeated Gotham FC 2-0 in a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) encounter.

Alozie was making her return to the team after serving out a three-game suspension for the red card she received in the Houston Dash’s clash with the San Diego Wave on September 4.

The right-back opened scoring for her side five minutes into the game.

The powerful defender doubled the advantage in the 67th minute.

Alozie has now taken her tally for the season to four goals in 15 league appearances.

The Houston Dash climbed up to seventh place on 26 points after 20 games in the 12-team league table.

She was named Woman of the Match after the game.
