Despite holding the world record, the Nigerian-born athlete, Tobi Amusan on Tuesday finished third at the Women's 100M hurdles event at the Ostrava Golden Spike.



Amusan crossed the line in a time of 12.47s to finish third behind Olympic Champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Tia Jones.

Puerto Rican Camacho-Quinn ran a Meeting Record of 12.42s to win the race while Tia Jones came from behind to pip the Nigerian to second with time of 12.44s.

Meanwhile the 12.47s is a season’s best for the current World record holder and world champion.

All three Athletes are expected to meet again in Lausanne this Friday.
