Transfer deadline day: Aubameyang set to fly to London for Chelsea medical
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a striker for Barcelona, will soon have a medical with Chelsea after the two clubs reached a deal.
According to reports, the Blues will reportedly pay a €14 million transfer fee and send Marcos Alonso in the opposite direction.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, around midday on Thursday.
Chelsea and Barcelona have now reached an agreement in principle for Pierre Aubameyang!
“€14m fee plus Marcos Alonso to Barça included — now finalizing details.
“Aubameyang is expected to fly to London in the upcoming hours, once details are resolved,” Romano tweeted.
Aubameyang only left Arsenal in February for Barcelona after the Gunners terminated his contract.
