Martin Braithwaite's contract with Barcelona is about to expire so that he can sign with LaLiga rivals Espanyol.
Braithwaite, who is currently no longer needed by Nou Camp, will sign a contract with his new team that runs through June 2025.
“Martin Braithwaite is now undergoing medical tests with Espanyol as he will sign his contract termination with Barcelona later today."
“Braithwaite will sign with Espanyol on a three-year deal, June 2025,” transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted.
Romano also revealed that Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo is set to undergo medicals with Liverpool ahead of a season-long loan move.
He wrote: "Medical is scheduled in the afternoon for Arthur Melo as Liverpool and Juventus are closing in on final details of a loan deal for the Brazilian midfielder." As things stand, there is no buy option.
“Arthur accepted right after the first call received by LFC yesterday night.”
