David Datro Fofana has left Chelsea for Union Berlin on loan.
He will spend the 2023–24 season in the Bundesliga.
The 20-year-old striker moved to Stamford Bridge from Molde in January.
He made only four appearances for the West London side after signing.
Union Berlin’s director of football, Oliver Ruhnert, said: “David’s pace and his flexible attacking qualities are of great interest to us. We want another dangerous player who will give our attacking game additional impetus.”
Meanwhile, Tottenham is set to announce the signing of Manor Solomon today.
The winger spent last season on loan at Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk but will now become Ange Postecoglou’s fourth permanent signing.
Solomon completed his medical on Monday and will be imminently announced.
