Bayern Munich winger Sadio Mane has revealed that he would play for the Bundesliga champions next season if everything goes according to God’s will.
Mane, currently on vacation with his family, has been linked with moving away from Bayern Munich this summer after a subpar performance for the German giants in his debut season.
The Senegal international is said to be on a seven-man list of players Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is happy to let move on along with Sane, Marcel Sabitzer, Alexander Nubel, Serge Gnabry, Bouna Sarr, and Benjamin Pavard.
“I am on vacation with my family. It was a very complicated season. It happens. It was not a surprise; I expected things to be a bit complicated. It is normal,” Mane, who has attracted interest from Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, told reporters in his country’s homeland.
“I love challenges, and Bayern is a big challenge. It is up to me to do everything to meet this challenge.”
Mane added, “God willing. If everything goes well, I am going to return to Bayern.”
