Serie A champions Napoli plan to make their talismanic forward, Victor Osimhen, the highest earner in the top flight.
According to Italian news hub Corriere dello Sport, the Partenopei have proposed to the striker a €15 million a year salary.
Osimhen’s representatives and Napoli are still locked in negotiations over a new contract.
Napoli want the Nigeria international to sign a new two-year contract that will see him remain at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona until 2007.
A release clause of €150 million will also be inserted in the contract.
Osimhen confirmed after Napoli’s 3-1 away win at Frosinone last weekend that he is still in talks with Napoli over a new contract.
Napoli recently turned down two lucrative bids from Saudi Arabia's Professional Football League outfit, Al Hilal, for the 24-year-old.
