Terem Moffi, a forward from Nigeria, is not particularly interested in joining West Ham United of the Premier League.
Moffi has been earmarked by the Hammers as one of their top transfer targets this month.
Despite the fact that his French club, Lorient, would accept West Ham's £25 million offer, the player is still on the fence about the transfer, a source told Sky Sports.
The London club is in danger of being demoted, and the player is unwilling to join.
The Ligue 1 club OGC Nice and the 23-year-old reportedly reached a personal agreement, but the latter is finding it difficult to agree to Lorient's asking price.
The other team that is seriously interested in the striker is Southampton.
Moffi has played in 18 league games for Lorient this year, scoring 12 goals while doing so.
