Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, fulfilled his promise to give the Flamingos the N3 million in cash.

Upon their arrival from India on Tuesday night, the players received the check.

At the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, Musa guaranteed the team N3 million if they defeated Germany in their third-place match.

The Flamingos lost the game despite holding a three-goal advantage, but they eventually won 3-2 thanks to penalties.

In the competition's history, it was the first time the Flamingos would win a medal.

The team is anticipated to be welcomed by President Muhammadu Buhari soon, and they will also receive recognition for their historic achievement in India.
