Miracle Usani, a defender for the Flamingos, is adamant that the group can make history by winning the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in India.

The girls of Bankole Olowookere are two victories away from becoming the first team from India to claim the championship.

At the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, the Flamingos will play Colombia in the semifinal on Wednesday.

“I believe we can get to the final,” Usani said in an interview with FIFA.

“If we can beat the USA, I don’t see any obstacle standing in our way.”

The game will start at 12pm Nigerian time.

The Flamingos beat the United States of America 4-3 on penalties to get to this stage of the competition.
