Some of Europe's biggest football clubs will discover their fate on Thursday, August 31 as the Champions League group stage draw is made at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Current holders Manchester City feature in pot one where they'll be joined by fellow domestic champions Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Napoli. Last season's Europa League winners Sevilla also take their place in the first pot.
Elsewhere in the draw there's a number of iconic sides somewhat out of place with Real Madrid and Manchester United both in pot 2 and Milan in pot 3. Newcastle United return to the competition for the first time since the 2003/04 season and take their spot in pot 4 alongside Scottish champions Celtic.
The Sporting News is on hand to keep you up to date with the draw, bringing you all the live updates and highlights as the group stage of European's biggest competition finally returns.
