Rangers captain, Chukwudi Nwaodu has assured that the team is poised to make the club’s supporters proud in the upcoming season.
The Flying Antelopes will start the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign against Doma United.
The encounter is billed for Awka City Stadium on Saturday.
Nwaodu disclosed in a chat with the Coal City media after the team’s training in Enugu.
The former Heartland skipper stated that he is positive with the calibre of players in the team.
“No doubt, we had a lot of players join us for this season,” he stated.
“Under a quality coach like Fidelis Ilechukwu, blending has not been an issue and I strongly believe that we shall be big contenders for the league.
“I believe will bring back the club’s pride to our numerous supporters.”
