Emmanuel Osahon Orobosa has unveiled the driving force behind the establishment of FC Robo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League.

As the owner and head coach of the Lagos-based club, Osahon disclosed that the primary goal was to empower girls as providers in society.

This initiative also aims to foster confidence in the girl child. FC Robo Queens, with a legacy spanning 25 years, has nurtured prominent talents such as Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Esther Sunday.

“The creation of FC Robo Queens is actually a calling and I want to give back to the society by removing girls from the street and making them being able to put food on people’s table in the society,” he told the club’s media.
“And giving them believe in their ability because in this part of the world we always look for quick way to make ends meet.
“As an individual financial backups has been the major problem but thank God I have been able to stand the test of time.”
