Since taking over as manager of Manchester United in the summer, Erik ten Hag has received praise for instilling "a fear factor" within the organization.
The Red Devils have made significant strides forward and are currently occupying the fifth spot on the table.
In the ten league games since, they have only lost one game, a 6-3 loss to Manchester City, and they have advanced to the Europa League's next round.
Former Premier League star Darren Ambrose said the Dutch manager deserves credit for much more than that.
He said the former Ajax manager has been able to handle Harry Maguire’s lack of form and Cristiano Ronaldo’s disciplinary problems.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Ambrose said: “Do you know what he’s done?" He’s created a bit of a fear factor in the manager again.
“I don’t think that Manchester United have had a long time since Sir Alex Ferguson." They’ve tried it, Jose Mourinho tried it, but it’s that fear factor that comes from making all of the correct decisions, in my opinion.
“He’s brought that fear factor as a manager and the players have responded really well to that."
Erik ten Hag recently punished Cristiano Ronaldo for defying him and disrespecting his teammates and fans. The Portugal international was dropped for their game against Chelsea
