Codecademy is an online interactive platform that offers free coding classes in 12 different programming languages including Python, Java, PHP, JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS, React.js), Ruby, SQL, and Sass, as well as markup languages HTML and CSS. It will be a very good platform to begin your coding experience. 

2. Udemy – (Free & Paid)

Udemy is an online platform to learn programming languages. It is aimed more at professional adults who want to add new skills to their resumes. Unlike academic MOOC programs driven by traditional collegiate coursework, Udemy provides a platform for experts of any kind to create courses which can be offered to the public, either at no charge or for a tuition fee. Udemy provides tools which enable users to create a course, promote it and earn money from student tuition charges. 

3. W3Schools – (Free)

W3Schools is a very popular website for learning programming languages online. It’s a web developers site, with tutorials and references on web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and Bootstrap, covering most aspects of web programming. The site derives its name from the World Wide Web (W3), but is not affiliated with the W3C. W3Schools has an offline version which you could download here. It has more than 40 million monthly unique visitors.

4. Khan Academy – (Free)

Khan Academy is one of the best free online-learning institution. With step-by-step video tutorials, you can learn how to program drawings, animations and games using JavaScript and ProcessingJS, or learn how to create webpages with HTML and CSS.

TutorialsPoint covers a wide range of computer science resources and tutorials to help programming students progress. It has all major computer languages like Parrot, C, C++, PERL, MySQL, Pro*C, PL/SQL, VBScript. Read other popular concepts like Object Oriented Programming, E-Commerce, Billing Systems, Compression Techniques and other references.

Free Code Camp is another best programming sites to improve your skills. Here you’ll learn HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Databases, DevTools, Node.js, Angular.js and Agile by networking and joining a community of professionals and students. You’ll even work together on your coding skills so that you can build apps for free. Students also are given the opportunity to code for non profits as a way to practice and give back.

7. Code.Org – (Free)

Code.org is a non-profit and eponymous website that aims to encourage people, particularly school students in the United States, to learn basics of computer programming. While the courses are generally designed for younger students, the principles that are taught are applicable for any age.
