During his album lunch which was attended by his parents, his mum disclosed that his son doesn't go to church any longer and that it borders her. But falz later disclosed to vanguard news that his mother is saying the truth. He said the reason behind the action is that the last time he attended a church service the pastor was addressing him in particular thereby putting unnecessary pressure on him, he said the pastor even called him out to the pulpit for him to talk to others. He believes all this was being done because of his celebrity status but that he prefers where everyone will be treated the same way.
