Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Simi almost missed her show in Philadelphia.

Simisola Kosoko, a gifted singer, is appreciative of her Philadelphia followers for sticking around despite the flight delay.

Simi wrote a lengthy Instagram post in which she detailed how she had to wait for roughly 10 hours at the airport and had to perform in a hoodie, joggers, and sneakers because she had forgotten her luggage there.

She had some makeup in her backpack, which was fortunate for her. She thanked God for making it all possible, but she also said as much.

She penned:

It’s like something extraordinary happens to me in every city, and Philly takes the cake. So my flight was delayed. I sat in the airport for almost 10 hours, and my Army waited for me. They waited for me! I was already so damn late, so I left my bags at the airport.

All I had were the clothes on my back—clothes I’d been traveling in all day. Luckily (or whateverily), I had put some makeup on on the plane.
