Cardi B got a face tattoo, joining celebrities like Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Post Malone, and many more.

Robinson De Los Sanots, a tattoo artist, shared a video on August 14 showing the red ink being applied to her cheek, though it's unclear exactly what the new addition is. A Cardi fan page has also released a picture of the rapper and De Los Santos together following the recording session, providing yet another sneak peek at the upcoming music.

Online rumors have suggested that the tattoo may be a tribute to her son Wave. As noted by Billboard, Cardi admitted earlier this year that she was considering getting Wave's name tattooed on her face. Earlier in January, the rapper tweeted, "I really, really want to do it."

Cardi has not yet shared a photo showcasing the tattoo in its entirety. Regardless of what it is, Cardi's latest tattoo will join the star's extensive collection of body art, which already includes a vivid peacock on her hip and vibrant floral art on her back.

Cardi B and her husband Offset got matching tattoos in February to celebrate Valentine's Day, each bearing the date of their nuptials on September 20, 2017. “This tattoo, to us, means love,” Cardi said during a video of the process.
