Senator Rochas Okorocha has stated that if a Tinubu-Rocha ticket becomes available, he will jump at the chance to run for president.
According to NAN, Okorocha, a former governor of Imo, said this on Sunday while fielding questions from journalists at the APC National Convention in Abuja.
"It's quite likely that Uncle Tinubu and I will be."
"Let's see what happens between us, and if that's all, I'll ask him to relax a little so we can move this section forward," I said.
"People naturally like me, and I suppose it's because they believe I care, that I love and sympathize with humanity, that I'm detribalized."
"They say I am oblivious to religion or ethnicity, whether Muslim or Christian, Igbo or Hausa, Yoruba; all I see is a human being, and that is what distinguishes me."
Okorocha advised Nigerians to make good use of their voter cards, saying they were valuable far more than they believed.
He went on to say that the year 2023 would provide Nigerians with an opportunity to make the correct decisions.
"Whether it's for internal democracy or global elections, you must make sure you vote correctly because the voter's card has all the information."
"I constantly tell them that the card in their hand is worth more than N100 million, therefore don't sell it for N10,000," he stated.
