Former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), David Shikfu Parradang, has tragically lost his life after being abducted in Abuja on Monday night.
Reports indicate that the retired top immigration officer was killed by his kidnappers, sending shockwaves across the nation.
As of now, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. Efforts by DAILY POST to contact the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, have been unsuccessful.
Parradang dedicated over 30 years to public service, serving in various capacities within the Nigerian Immigration Service. His career spanned multiple states, including Kano, Lagos, Kwara, Enugu, and the Federal Capital Territory, before rising to the prestigious role of Comptroller-General.
