Four impostors who were dressing up as traffic cops have been detained by the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA).

According to Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, the agency's chairman, the suspects were taken into custody on August 22nd, a Monday.

In and around the Akobo, Akala, and General Gas axis of the Ibadan Metropolis, he said, "we caught in the act some impostors parading as our officials and defrauding the motoring public earlier today."

This is in response to a number of complaints we received from locals and our coordinated covert operations with other security agencies.

The police have been given the suspects so they can conduct additional research and pursue legal action.
