Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has responded to the viral AI-generated image depicting him as an Alhaji.

The image, which surfaced online late last year, shows Adeboye dressed in traditional Islamic attire and observing prayers during Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Addressing the image, Pastor Adeboye humorously acknowledged it during the first Holy Ghost Night service of 2025, held early on Saturday morning. He commented, “I’m sure many of you have seen that picture of me as an Alhaji.”

The image, created by AI, sparked curiosity and conversation online, with many intrigued by the unusual depiction of the pastor.
