In a counter preparation for the two weeks sit-at-home declared by the IPOB secessionist group, the Enugu State governor, Peter Mbah has set heavy security presence in Enugu ahead of Simon Ekpa’s call for a 2-week sit-at-home which is expected to kick off on 31st July till 14th August, 2023.

It will be recalled that Simon has called for two weeks sit at home for the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who has been at the DSS custody since June 2021.

Simon Ekpa is progressing with the sit at home despite a caution letter from Nnamdi Kanu himself. Ekpa said he can only obey Kanu one on one in Finland and not from the police custody.
