After selling their number No.
1 goalkeeper to Fulham, Besiktas are now eyeing the former Liverpool No.1 goalkeeper Loris Karius, according to reports.
Besiktas are now desperately need a stopper and the Turkish club are hopeful of signing Karius on an initial two-year loan.
Karius who had credible 33 appearances for the Reds last season but made a costly mistake at the champions league final against Real Madrid which necessitated Liverpool defeat at the final has now fallen down the pecking order at Anfield following the arrival of Alisson in a £67m move from Roma.
The 25-year-old has attracted the interest of Besiktas, who finished fourth in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
Reports have it that Besiktas are willing to pay Liverpool a €1.4m (£1.25m) payment in each year of the loan, plus a flat fee of €2m (£1.79m) at the end of the loan spell.
However, this is yet to be confirmed by Liverpool but hopefully it may be a successful deal since Karius has been relegated to bench.
