Chelsea made a late attempt to hijack Richarlison’s move from Everton to Tottenham Hotspur.

This was revealed by Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday.

According to him, the Blues failed in a bid to sign Richarlison ahead of their London rivals.

The Brazil forward is now set to join Spurs in a £60m transfer.

Chelsea made an attempt to hijack Richarlison's deal before the agreement between Everton and Tottenham, in place since this morning for £60m.
