Former France defender William Gallas has called on Arsenal players not to “hide” against Manchester City on Wednesday night.

The two top teams in Premier League go head-to-head at the Etihad in a keenly-anticipated fixture.

Arsenal are currently five points ahead of City, who have two outstanding fixtures to play.

Gallas has urged Mikel Arteta’s men to give it their all and “work harder” than the champions.

“Arsenal must go onto the pitch and give absolutely everything during the game. They must give all of themselves and they need to show their desire on the pitch.
“They must work harder than Manchester City. They must die for each other on the pitch.
“They can’t leave Manchester with any regrets. Everyone must take their responsibility and do what they must do. Don’t hide. Don’t put pressure on yourself,” Gallas said.
