Diogo Jota, a striker for Liverpool, has named midfielder Bernardo Silva as one of the Portugal players he would bring to Anfield.
Silva plays for Manchester City.
Silva was cited by Jota as one of the smartest football players he had ever met.
Speaking on the Mark Goldbridge, That is Football YouTube channel, he said this.
Jota responded, "Silva," when asked who from the Portugal squad, besides Cristiano Ronaldo, he would team up with for Liverpool.
He said, “Bernardo, yeah, Bernardo Silva is for me probably one of the most intelligent football guys I have known, and the way he can hide the ball as well from the opponents is special, and I think I will go for him.”
Silva moved from Monaco to Manchester City in the summer of 2017.
He has already made a name for himself as a vital member of Pep Guardiola's team.
The 29-year-old is renowned for his creativity, dribbling, work rate, and versatility as an attacking midfielder and right-winger.
