Dietmar Hamann has maintained that Sadio Mane, a forward for Bayern Munich, is lonely and dissatisfied.

Hamann claimed that despite moving to Bayern Munich from Liverpool in the summer, Mane has not adjusted well.

With the Bundesliga champions, Mane got off to a quick start, tallying three goals in his first three league contests.

The Senegal international, however, has gone five games without tallying a goal, two of which came in the Champions League.

After replacing Mane in the 70th minute of their Champions League victory over Barcelona a few days ago, his coach, Julian Nagelsmann, acknowledged Mane would need some time to adjust to his new teammates.

Hamann, a former player for both teams, believes Mane doesn't appear to be content at the Allianz Arena.

Hamann told GMX via Sport Witness: “He is not integrated."

“I saw him at Liverpool FC, where he played through the middle. That is not his position. Now he’s taking that position at FC Bayern as well. He is at his best when he comes from the outside. He doesn’t look happy to me.

Other players like Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala or, in defence, Lucas Hernandez, who is injured at the moment, are putting in outstanding performances.

“Nobody is talking about Mane at the moment. He seems isolated and hardly takes part in the game. FC Bayern has to get a grip on that.
