Ayobami Junior has returned to his boyhood club, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.



Junior signed a one-year contract with the former Nigeria Professional Football League champions.

The midfielder played for Kwara United last season.

Other clubs had shown interest in the player, but he opted to rejoin the Shooting Stars.

He is expected to partner captain Taofeek Malomo and Alex Aghahowa in the club’s midfield.

The player also previously had a brief stint with Kano Pillars.
