Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is not sure he will return to the club after the 2022 World Cup.
This follows the release of his full interview with Piers Morgan on Wednesday and Thursday.
“It’s difficult to tell right now, because my mood is right now to The World Cup.
“It’s probably my last World Cup." I don’t know what’s going to happen after the World Cup, and I will say again: the fans will always be in my heart.
“But I don’t know; it’s hard to tell right now what’s going to happen at the World Cup."
“Because my focus is on the World Cup, on the Portugal national team,” Ronaldo said in the concluding part of the sit-down with Morgan.
Ronaldo has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2023.
However, it is widely expected that the Premier League giants will terminate his contract.
