Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Anatolij Trubin, who is thought to be one of the club’s top replacements for Manchester United target Andre Onana.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are now in a direct meeting with the intermediary, Trubin, in a bid to strike a deal to sign the Ukrainian goalkeeper.
Trubin is being considered as an option at Inter as the Serie A giants are waiting for Onana’s deal to develop amid interest from Manchester United and also a final decision on goalkeeper Samir Handanovic’s contract.
Manchester United are keen to sign Onana as a possible replacement for David De Gea.
In a related development, Manchester United confirmed on Thursday that Wales defender Gemma Evans has joined their Women’s team on a permanent deal.
Evans joined Manchester United after spells with former Women’s Super League sides Bristol City and Reading.
“It is a massive honor to sign here. It is something I have dreamed about. The ambition of the club is what brought me here,” Evans told the club’s website.
