Before its release later this week, Blackpink has released a mesmerizing new teaser for the music video for their new single, "Pink Venom.

"

The song will be the lead single for the K-pop girl group's upcoming "BORN PINK" album, which is scheduled to be released in September.

The brief teaser begins with a close-up of a person playing the traditional Korean instrument known as a gayageum, dust blowing in the direction of the camera, and a sharp blade striking a pendulum that is swinging.

The images then switch to reveal rows of figures kneeling on the ground in black satin hooded cloaks with pink glowing emanating from beneath them.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, the other three members of BLACKPINK, can be seen in various shots as the line "I bring the pain like" plays at the end of the clip. Watch it below now.

Pink Venom will be released on Friday, August 19, and will be accompanied by a #PinkVenomChallenge on YouTube Shorts. Details of what the challenge will entail have yet to be confirmed.
