Wale, a Nigerian-American rapper, has openly stated that Wizkid's smash song "Essence" is deserving of several Grammy nominations.

Wizkid had recently lost all of his Grammy nominations and was brutally chastised by his detractors for failing to win in every category for which he was nominated.

The American rapper, who has previously praised Wizkid, stormed his Twitter account and declared that Wizkid's popular song "Essence" deserved several Grammy awards.

He stated, in his own words:
