Nigerian music sensation Fireboy DML, born Adedamola Adefolahan, has openly expressed his deep desire to strengthen his relationship with God.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page on Sunday, the ‘Playboy’ hitmaker made a heartfelt declaration, stating:

"I need to get closer to God."

Fireboy DML is not the only celebrity embracing a spiritual transformation. Last year, popular DJ and billionaire heiress DJ Cuppy dedicated her life to Christ and got baptized at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. Following this, she revealed that God had inspired her to curate a gospel mixtape.

Similarly, South African influencer Kefilwe Mabote recently shocked many by burning her luxury designer clothes after dedicating her life to Christ. She explained that her decision was based on biblical teachings, which label such items as “accursed.”

Fireboy DML’s statement has sparked discussions among fans, with many eager to see how this spiritual journey might influence his music and lifestyle.
