Popular stand-up comedian IGoSave has strongly criticized the House of Representatives' directive to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to block all pornographic websites nationwide.

Expressing his concerns, the comedian warned that the ban would negatively impact many Nigerians. Taking to his Instagram story, he humorously questioned whether a protest should be staged on behalf of those affected.

"This porn site ban go affect many Nigerians o! Should we help dem protest? Cos they are true Nigerians too," he wrote.

Similarly, rapper Blaqbonez weighed in, slamming the move as a case of misplaced priorities. He argued that adult films serve as a coping mechanism for many citizens, helping them navigate tough times.
