Reacting via an Instagram video, Famakin backed Chef T, slamming Toriola for what he described as a sense of entitlement. He questioned how the actress could claim to be a fan of the chef yet resort to publicly dragging her for not responding to a collaboration request.

“We don’t tolerate Chef T slander here. She’s a sweetheart and a positive force in the Nigerian and African food space. I won’t sit back and watch an actress who didn’t get a collaboration tarnish her name. That’s unacceptable,” Famakin stated.

He further emphasized that genuine collaborations should be built on mutual respect, not opportunism.

“It’s always better to work with people who genuinely like you. Many of those requesting collaborations don’t actually support you. This actress introduced herself as a fan, but the moment Chef T didn’t respond, she turned against her.”
