Madame Mystique, the noted socialite and former partner of Nigerian music star Asake, has disclosed the reasons behind their breakup.

Responding to a curious fan on her Instagram, Mystique revealed that she ended their relationship because she felt Asake was leaning towards allowing negative influences to sway him.

Addressing the fan's query about breaking the musician's heart, she candidly replied, "I ended it because he was heading down a dark path."

In another exchange, where a fan criticized her for not protecting Asake, Mystique defended his faith, asserting that he is a devout man of God. She reassured, "Trust me, Asake is committed to his faith. The devil is merely a cunning adversary."

Their romance had captured public attention last year with affectionate displays online. However, by March 2024, reports surfaced indicating trouble in paradise.
