Renowned Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, AKA Falz, has given reasons why he called out the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof.

He said the song titled "Yakubu" is based on “his truth” about the elections.

The singer who decried the violence and manipulation that marred the elections said ”INEC’s performance at the just concluded elections was a big mess”.

“There’s absolutely nothing I’m saying on this record or Vector is saying on this record that hasn’t occurred,” he said.

“We are not fabricating facts; we are not making things up; we are not painting a scenario that did not occur.

“We are telling you things as they happened.”
