Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has urged political parties against running a Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2023.

Fani-Kayode warned that a Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2023 would be risky.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain also warned the Northwest, Southwest, and South-South against running for president in a series of tweets.

He believes the Igbos should be given the opportunity to elect Nigeria's next president in 2023.

"Is Nigeria made up exclusively of the NW, SW, and SS?" Fani-Kayode asks. "Are the others not also people?" The Southerner who has abandoned the South is the one who believes that the next President must come from the SW or SS, rather than the one who supports a Northern candidate.

Worse is that one of those presidential aspirants from the South is toying with the idea of a Muslim/Muslim ticket! Can there be anything more reckless and dangerous than that?

“The SE, NE, and NC should have the right of first refusal for both."
