Terrorists who kidnapped and attacked passengers on an Abuja-Kaduna train have released one of their captives, a pregnant woman.

The woman was reportedly let free, though it is unclear whether her family members paid a ransom.

Meanwhile, a woman dressed in black Muslim robes and wearing a face mask claimed that the terrorists had released her due to her health.

She urged the Nigerian authorities to talk with the kidnappers in order to free the other victims held captive in their cave.

According to Naijacrawl, she said, “It’s becoming very important because of the uncertainty surrounding the plight of others who are still in the terrorist den." The terrorists are taking care of us; they feed us well and give us our medication. ”

It could be recalled that terrorists attacked a train on the Abuja-Kaduna Railway on March 28, where at least eight passengers were killed in the incident.

Also, 168 others have been kidnapped or declared missing.

It was the second time the rail line between Abuja and Kaduna would be the target of bandits.
