The Adamawa State Police Command has deployed security personnel to Lamza and Kawa communities following a communal clash that resulted in property destruction.

Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has directed the deputy commissioner of police, department of investigation) to conduct a detailed probe into the incident, which occurred on March 14, 2025.

In a statement, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje expressed the CP’s concern over the loss of property and reassured residents of Guyuk that justice would be served.

The CP also ordered officers to apprehend those responsible, emphasizing that normalcy has been restored in the affected areas.
