Reporting live from the city of Onitsha, a heavy lorry carrying container of goods fell yesterday along the upper iweka area and landed on top of a parking vehicle. It was reported that no live was lost in the incident but the driver of the parked vehicle was injured as he was still inside the car along with another woman passing by.

The men of federal road safety commission arrived at the scene and stated that the accident was caused by the pot holes on the road of which the heavy lorry driver was trying to avert before losing control of the lorry. They called on the other drivers plying the road to be careful next time in order to avoid any other accident.

The injured persons have been taking to the nearest hospital and are responding to treatment.
