The suspect identified who has been identified as Biodun Rasheed was arrested on Wednesday, November 24, at about 3:30 am at mile 6 along Ajebo road Abeokuta.

The suspect and his gang was said to be robbing the area when patrol team mobilized by the DPO Kemta division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday joined with vigilante group of Nigeria moved to the scene. On sighting the security men, the suspects escaped but Biodun Rasheed who dressed like a Fulani herdsman was apprehended.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect is currently helping the police in their efforts to apprehend the remaining members of the gang.
