Lagos Businnesman Wins Rivers APC Governorship Ticket
A renowned business in Lagos state and a strong ally to the former Minister of transportation. Mr Tonye Cole has won the Rivers State All Progressives Congress governorship primary.
Cole defeated three other primary candidates to become the party's governorship candidate in the state for the 2023 general election.
The technocrat received 986 votes, beating out Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Seconte Davies, Ibinabo West, and Benrard Mikko, who received 190, 47, 43, and 2 votes, respectively, to finish second, third, and fourth.
