It was a depressing moment yesterday as a 21 year old Nigerian footballer, Okafor Kelechi was laid to rest.



The Football player who played for the Lion Club in Lagos died the very day he set to leave the country for a club in Azerbaijan.

Kelechi, who visa and travelling documents had been processed left his some to the club training ground of the Lion Hearts Football Club, Ayobo, Lagos state on the very day he will be traveling, since his trip is scheduled for 8:30Pm.

But in the course of playing with his friends during training, he lost his balance and hit his head on the ground. He was instantly rushed to the hospital but the doctor declared in brought in dead.

The plane left Nigeria without Kelechi, an upcoming superstar from the country.
