A Nigerian pastor was allegedly caught defiling his own daughter inside a bush in Akwa Ibom.

The so- called pastor is currently in the custody of the police, facing interrogation.

His arrest exposed many things about what he has been doing to his daughter for a long years. The pastor has also confessed, he revealed the reason behind his actions.

The operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police command have arrested a pastor identified as Louis Akpojotor Mevoweoyo for allegedly having carnal knowledge of his 14- year- old daughter (name undisclosed). On the day he was arrested, it was made known that the suspect/pastor armed himself with a cutlass and dragged her daughter to a bush where he forcefully defiled her. He was eventually caught in the process.

Meanwhile, the investigation revealed that that was not the first time the suspect would rape his daughter. It was gathered that he (the suspect) has been sexually abusing his daughter since she was at the age of 12. Why he went through the stress of dragging her to the bush that day is mysterious.

The State police spokesperson, DSP Timfon John, confirmed the report during a press briefing on Monday, 20th of January, 2025. He disclosed that the suspect was a pastor from a village in Ughelli North LGA of the State but he resided in Ibiono Ibom community. It was further revealed that the nemesis caught up on the suspect around December 2024, after molesting the girl sexually for two years.
