The incident reportedly took place in Amaenyi, Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

According to sources, the 20-year-old houseboy had been brought in by his employer to care for her elderly father. Reports suggest that the gruesome act occurred after the young man had been in the employ for just about a month.

In a video recording featuring members of the family. The accompanying write-up explained the circumstances, stating: "Chigozie Dike, a 20-year-old houseboy, arrived barely a month ago to take care of his employer's father in Amaenyi, Awka, Anambra state. Yesterday, on November 8, 2023, when the employer left for her restaurant business, he turned on the generator to conceal his sinister plans, then used a machete to attack the elderly man, including severing his manhood for a ritual, after which he fled."

The injured father has been urgently taken to Amaku Hospital in Awka. As of the latest information, the young man is on the run, and authorities urge anyone who spots him to promptly report the sighting to the nearest police station.
