Two Nigerian migrants have been arrested in Libya for assaulting a fellow Nigerian and causing his death by throwing him off the roof of a building.

The incident occurred in Brak, a town in the Wadi al Shatii District of west-central Libya, on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Migrant Rescue Watch reported the arrests on Tuesday, stating, "Police in Brak arrested two undocumented migrants of Nigerian nationality ('J.H.' born 2002 & 'A.M.' born 1994) responsible for assaulting another Nigerian migrant ('Z.M.')."
The victim, after being thrown from the roof, suffered severe injuries and, despite receiving medical assistance, succumbed to his injuries. Both suspects have been referred to the public prosecutor for legal action.
