Umahi wins as Appeal Court dismisses his sack as Ebonyi gov
A complaint seeking the removal of Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State and his deputy, Dr. Kelechi Igwe, from office was dismissed by an appeals court in Enugu on Friday.

Senator Soni Ogbuoji, the APC governorship candidate in the 2019 election, and her running mate, Justin Mbam, filed the lawsuit.
Umahi, Igwe, and 17 other lawmakers in the state were recently fired by an Abuja High Court presided over by Justice Inyang Ekwo for defecting from the PDP to the APC.
