2022 World Cup: Nigeria’s Sunday Oliseh names country to win tournament
Sunday Oliseh, a former captain of the Super Eagles, has supported Senegal to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Senegal, according to Oliseh, is the only African country with a chance to win the World Cup this year.
Senegal qualified for the 2022 World Cup after defeating Egypt's Mohamed Salah-led team in a penalty shootout on Tuesday.
Senegal is the current African Football Confederation (AFCON) champion, having won the competition in Cameroon in February.
"Only one side in Africa has a chance to win it [the World Cup], and that is Senegal," Oliseh told The COSAFA Show.
